We all have people we don't want to speak to. Whether it's an ex-girlfriend, persistent salesman or a debt collector, there are times when we simply don't want to answer the phone.
The problem with leaving the phone to ring off (or just 'red buttoning' someone), of course, is that the caller can generally figure out that you've seen who it is that's calling and hung up. Easy Reject addresses the problem of nuisance callers by automatically playing the busy signal to any callers you don't want to speak to. The program can also be used to filter out spam SMS and other unwelcome text messages.
Setting up Easy Reject is a very simple affair. You just need to tell the program which numbers you want it to automatically reject. These can be imported from your phone book or phone log, or you can enter the number manually. You can also opt to reject all calls from hidden numbers. All the numbers and contacts you are blocking are listed Easy Reject, and you can mark and unmark them at will.
Easy Reject will also auto-reject SMS messages from designated numbers and contacts. This means that they will be filtered with no sound or light indication when they arrive. Unfortunately, the main problem with the application is that if you block messages from a certain number, it will also block any calls from this number, and vice versa.
On the whole though, Easy Reject makes for a simple way to protect yourself from people you don't want to hear from.
